Elaine Shaffer collection (MSS 68)
The collection primarily spans Shaffer's time as a student at the Curtis Institute of Music through her international career as the first female flute soloist. Included are personal diaries, correspondence, photographs, performance reviews, and scrapbooks compiled by Shaffer. It also contains items related to William Kincaid, Shaffer's teacher at Curtis and lifelong friend.

Joseph de Pasquale collection
The collection consists of orchestral parts for viola, bowed and annotated by Joseph de Pasquale as well as a small collection of non-commercial recordings from the 1940s-50s.
Letters from Samuel Barber to Sheppard Lehnhoff, 1941-1942
(2) letters from Barber to his old friend, violist Sheppard Lehnhoff. The first, dated December 1941, regards Barber trying to get a copy of his 'Serenade' for Lehnhoff. The second, dated March 1942, critiques the latter's performance of one of his works (unnamed).
