This subseries incudes lists of the organ repertoire that Farnam had memorized, as well as music he played as preludes, postludes, and during services. The 1917 notebook includes a diary about the building of the 140-stop Casavant organ that was built in the Emmanuel Church in Boston under his supervision, at the time the third-largest organ in North America.

Includes recitals and church services Farnam attended, mainly in Boston, including the Arlington Street Church, the Church of the Advent, and the New England Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Recitals and service programs are glued into the schrapbook in layers. Some loose inserts are included.

Scope and Contents From the Collection: The collection consists of the personal papers of Lynnwood Farnam, including correspondence, diaries and notebooks, scrapbooks, programs, clippings, and church service programs, all which document his personal life and career as a church and performing organist and head of the new organ department at the Curtis Institute of Music.
