Series 2 includes cartoon drawings relating to the Curtis Institute of music, its faculty, or alumni.

The cutaway view, commissioned by the magazine Etude, depicts practice rooms and library room in the basement, a recital in Curtis Hall, a reception in the Common Room, people watching from the corridor above, and a lesson in the double bass room on the fourth floor. The image includes a photoreproduction of the original pen-and-ink line drawing with color wash behind it, and of the line drawing itself.

Series 3 includes ephemera, miscellaneous art work relating to Curtis, including materials commissioned for publicity purposes.

Undated invitation for Friday, December 9 suggests a costume party, possibly 1949, 1955, 1960 or 1966.
