Photographs - Communications department

This collection of photographs includes those taken and or commissioned by Curtis's Communications Department (now part of Advancement Dept.) and includes formal and informal events, performances, building photos, materials for publication, photos of visiting artists and Curtis tours. Photos were assigned to one of the following groups: 1. Students and Groups, 2. Individuals, 3. Buildings, 4. Graduation 5. Curtis Events, 6. Opera, 7. Orchestra, 8. Tours, 9. Friends of Curtis 10. Directors, 11. Miscellaneous

This collection was transferred to the archives in 2012 and the original filing system, created by Communications staff, has been preserved. Any new photographs transferred to the archives from other Curtis departments are added to the general archives photo collection (PH 1).
