Biographical / Historical
Tiefland (The Lowland) by Eugene D'Albert was performed by opera and orchestral students of the Curtis Institute on May 12, 1929. The performance took place at the nearby Academy of Music with Artur Rodzinski conducting. Wilhelm von Wymetal, Jr., known for his work in both opera and film, was the stage director.
