McCurdy, Alexander, Jr., 1905-1983
Biography
Alexander was an organist who studied at Curtis with Lynnwood Farnam from 1927-1931, earning a diploma that was awarded in the first commencement ceremony in 1934. In 1935 he became part of the faculty teaching the organ until 1972.
