George Antheil, born July 8th, 1900, was an American composer and pianist associated with the avant-garde style. His whose major patron for a time was Mary Louise Curtis Bok. He was also an inventor and author that helped invent the frequency hopping radio guidance system alongside actress Hedy Lamarr.
