Biographical / Historical

Virginia de Blasiis studied violin and viola at the Curtis Institute of Music from 1924 to 1927, receiving her diploma in 1935. A native of Glenn Falls, NY, she taught at the Glen Falls public schools and privately until 1976, was concertmaster for the Glen Falls Operetta Club, and performed with the Schenectady Orchestra.
